Privacy policy

Last updated: 19 August 2026

This policy describes how Datamensio processes personal data collected on datamensio.com. It does not cover the Datamensio platform itself: processing carried out as part of the service is governed by a data processing agreement entered into with each customer.

Our principle is simple: we sell your data to no one, we collect no more than we need, and we tell you exactly where it goes.

Data controller

Datamensio, a French simplified joint-stock company (SAS), 14 passage Foubert, 75013 Paris, France, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 898 680 855.

For any question about personal data: contact@datamensio.com.

Data collected, purposes and legal bases

Contact and demo form: name, business email address, organisation, role and message. This data is used to answer your request and organise the requested demonstration or maturity assessment. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Context of your request: when you send the form, it carries the pages of this website you viewed in that tab and, where applicable, the site that referred you. That list exists only in your browser during your visit, disappears when the tab closes, and reaches us only if you submit the form: if you do not write to us, we receive none of it. We use it to understand what prompted your request and to answer it usefully. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in handling your request in full knowledge of its context (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Conversational assistant: the content of your exchanges and, if you provide it, your email address. This data is used to answer your questions and follow up on your contact request. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in assisting visitors who reach out to us (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Voice input in the assistant: the microphone button uses the speech recognition built into your browser. We record no audio and receive nothing until you send the message: the transcript appears in the input field, where you can correct or clear it. Depending on your browser, that transcription may be carried out by its vendor on its own servers, outside our control; the microphone is only active while you have pressed the button.

Browsing: the website sets no cookies and uses no advertising trackers or profiling tools. We measure traffic with Vercel Analytics, which counts page views without a cookie and without an identifier kept from one visit to the next: we know which pages are read, we do not know who reads them, and we cannot follow you across other websites. The host's technical logs (IP addresses, timestamps) are kept for security purposes. Legal basis: legitimate interest in measuring traffic to our website and securing it (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Recipients and processors

Data is accessible only to the Datamensio teams who need it to handle your request. It is processed by the following processors:

  • Vercel Inc. (United States): website hosting and traffic measurement, server-side processing carried out in the Paris region.
  • OVH SAS (France) and Scaleway SAS (France): hosting and backup of the Datamensio platform, data hosted in the European Union.
  • Supabase Pte. Ltd (Singapore): storage of requests sent through the form, on an instance hosted in Paris.
  • Brevo SAS (France): delivery of notification emails to our teams, data hosted in the European Union.
  • Anthropic (conversational assistant): the processing of assistant conversations is governed by contractual safeguards compliant with the GDPR.

Transfers outside the European Union

Requests you send through the form are stored on a database hosted in Paris, and notification emails are delivered by a French provider. Three of our processors, however, are established outside the European Union: Vercel, which hosts this website and measures its traffic, Supabase, whose instance sits in Paris but whose company is established in Singapore, and Anthropic, which powers the conversational assistant. Those transfers are governed by the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission. If you prefer not to use the assistant, the contact form provides exactly the same service.

This policy covers the website only. Our clients' data, processed in the Datamensio platform, is hosted in France with OVH and backed up with Scaleway: it does not leave the European Union.

Retention periods

Data from the contact form and the assistant is kept for three years after our last exchange, then deleted. Technical logs are kept for twelve months.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. To exercise these rights, write to contact@datamensio.com; we reply within one month.

If you believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr), the French supervisory authority.

No automated decision-making

No decision producing legal effects concerning you is made automatically from the data collected on this website.
